BFE Europe Sp. z o. o. is a part of the Swedish group BALTICUM FRINAB AB, operating since 1986 and a leader in the production and sales of metal containers in Scandinavia.
BFAB in Poland is:
- Contema Sp. z o. o. founded in 1993 in Bobolice. Manufacturer of metal containers.
- Balticum Frinab Sp. z o. o. founded in 1995 in Bydgoszcz. Manufacturer of metal containers.
- BFE Europe Sp. z o. o. (Balticum Frinab Ecology) from Włocławek. Manufacturer of truck bodies.
Our history is primarily hooklift devices, mainly for 3-axle chassis. For many years, our main clients were Scandinavian companies. In addition to 20-ton devices, we also produce hooklift devices for two-axle vehicles and platforms.
Our next step in expanding our product offer was the production of the garbage truck bodies to our offer:
– in 2008, a one-chamber HD model
– in 2019, the mini MGT model
– in 2020, a two-chamber DGT model
The refuse body containers and the tailgates are made in our 11,000 m2 plant in Frinnaryd, Sweden, where they are welded by welding robots and painted in professional paint shops.
Then they are delivered to our assembly plant in Włocławek, where they are equipped with hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic installations, as well as the assembly of press, transport and ejection plates. In Włocławek plant, lifting mechanisms are also installed and refuse bodies are placed on vehicle chassis. The plant in Włocławek is also the main service center, which also has a fleet of service vehicles.
To meet the high market demand, we have introduced comprehensive renovation services for municipal bodies of all models of garbage trucks, hooklifts, skiploaders and dump trucks. Repairs are made at our plant in Włocławek, and we provide a 12-month BFE warranty for each repair.
In 2023, we implemented a quality management system consistent with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard in the field of “Design, production and service of specialized municipal bodies for trucks”. This is another step to improve the quality of the products and services we offer.
